In Greek: βυσσινάδα, pronounced vee-see-NAH-thah
The word “cordial” in many places outside the U.S. means a non-alcoholic refreshing drink, andvyssinatha is certainly that. This is a real treat during hot weather.
Vyssinatha – Sour Cherry Cordial
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon of sour cherry syrup (see below)
- 5 ounces of ice water
- ice cubes
Preparation:
Add the syrup to the water and stir. Add ice and enjoy!
